That night, the pretty little female flying squirrel managed to evade capture for nearly an hour. She hid in tea cups, snuggled between books and even clung to the underside of an upholstered red velvet chair. Once, gliding quietly from a bookshelf to the very top of the ivory Geisha's head, she sat like the crown of a delightful Japanese totem.
